Membership

Since our start in 2023, we have grown immensely and quickly. Having over 50 regularly attending members, we began to look at the best ways we could enhance our book club experience.

Beginning in May 2024, we will offer exclusive perks for our members who choose to pay dues. For $20 a year, dues paying members will receive a unique experience to Memphis Girls Book Club. With this small fee, we can help maintain our site, meetings, partnerships and more. This is an optional opportunity and not required to attend meetings.

Memberships are currently CLOSED for 2024. We will reopen memberships in January for 2025 until March 1.

What do I get as a paying member of Memphis Girls Book Club?

Our admin board surveyed our club and we found that 61% of our members are willing to budget $20 a year to help fund catered meetings, author events, reading retreats, formal meeting spaces, philanthropy and exclusive merchandise.

For 2024, dues paying members will receive throughout the year:

Access to exclusive author events
An exclusive merchandise item
Semi-annual catered events
Monthly newsletter from the President
Inside scoop for upcoming events, such as MGBC first ever Reading Retreat (coming 2025)

For non-paying members, we will include pricing for certain events to be able to participate.
